Switch to Sample: shoppers try before they buy the full size.
Context
Some products are hard to choose on a screen: a scent, a shade, a texture. Shoppers hesitate, or they buy the full size and send it back.
Challenge
Give merchants a simple way to offer samples beside the full product, so shoppers can try first.
What we built
An app that adds a sample option to the product page, free or paid, next to the full size, with detailed metrics on how samples are used. We fit it to each store’s theme, so the sample option looks like part of the store. The demo above shows the idea.
Result
Product Samples has been live on the Shopify App Store since September 2019, with its own site at productsamples.app. Luke supports it himself.
